Christmas Eve 2014

We spent Christmas Eve with the Hinson's and had a wonderful time. Kristin was the best host and had gingerbread house frosting all made when we got there and the kids were so excited to make their very own candy graham cracker "gingerbread" houses! Neal smoked Briskett and the food was nothing short of amazing! Dinner was followed by the traditional Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory. Yum!! It was especially fun this year to do our traditional live nativity with so many cousins and read the Christmas story from the scriptures. I thought we had a pretty cute cast and the acting was perfect! :-)
We decided to have the kids draw names this year and get each other gifts and it was so fun and super cute to see the excitement on their faces when they gave/got their gifts. Finally we ended the fun night with the traditional opening of new jammies! So fun to match with cousins this year!! It was so fun to have our Hinson cousins back for Christmas this year! I love this family of mine so much and I am so grateful for this wonderful Christmas season and the time that we get to reflect on the birth of our Savior and the joy and peace He brings into our lives.
