Basketball Season- Jan-March 2015

 Zach played Comp basketball this year and had a great season! The team took first in the city comp league for 5th/6th grade boys and it was a really fun season for the Cougars!! Zach has discovered his love for basketball and says it is now his favorite sport. He even went as far as dropping baseball this year so he could play more basketball on another club league!!

Kali begged to play basketball this year for the first time and she even talked her own dad into coaching for her team!! She played on a city rec team for 3rd/4th grade girls and these girls were super tough! They actually ended up finishing 1st in their division as well!! Kali worked really hard at learning the sport and she had great drive and wasn't afraid of the ball. I think she managed to make a few shots every single game!! The Monarchs were a really fun team to watch this year and we look forward to many more years of watching these kids play such a fun sport!!
